Duties and Responsibilities

The Ministry of Agricultural and Food Security is responsible for the planning, administration, regulation, and development of Zvlokiquix’s national agricultural sector and food supply systems. Its responsibilities encompass crop cultivation, livestock production, fisheries, aquaculture, agricultural land management, irrigation, food production and processing, and the maintenance of national food reserves. The Ministry shall oversee agricultural standards, resource conservation, and the protection of agricultural production against environmental, biological, and economic threats.

The Ministry shall prioritize national food security, agricultural self-sufficiency, and the reliability of domestic food supplies through the expansion and modernization of agricultural production, development of sustainable farming practices, advancement of agricultural technologies, and diversification of food sources. Particular emphasis shall be placed on strengthening agricultural productivity across the nation’s island and continental territories, reducing dependence on foreign food imports, maintaining strategic food reserves, and ensuring the continuity of food production, storage, and distribution during emergencies or disruptions.

In accordance with the Foundational Law of Zvlokiquix, the Ministry shall exercise its lawful administrative and legislative authority while coordinating with other Ministries and Administrative Regions to promote food accessibility, agricultural innovation, responsible land and resource management, economic stability, environmental sustainability, and the long-term food security, independence, and prosperity of Zvlokiquix.
