I can help you design your military by:
Creating a list of bases and their defenses based on your terrain and location of cities.
Based on your economy and percentage of GDP that makes up your military budget, create said military budget.
Create a list of unique weapons and defense systems based on your countries purposes and goals. (Special missiles, kinetic weapons or DEW, Radars and sensors)
Create a Table of organization and equipment for your military at the level of detail you desire.
Create a list of equipment and their capabilities based on your needs and what you see in your minds eye.
Create or use others art to illustrate your vehicles.
My questions deal with the specifics of the military.
Do you have a nations military in mind? An American style, Russian style, French style, Japanese style, Brazilian style, Philippine style or Ugandan style? Each of these countries militaries represents a unique mind set.
America is high tech, stream lined dedicated use of force multipliers fewer product for higher quality.
Russia is moderate tech, artillery heavy, quantity is a quality all its own.
French would be a high end second nation military, has colonial troops, prefers wheeled vehicles over tracked, makes its own equipment. Small but professional.
Japanese is primarily self defense, limited offense. More superiority / control over strike capability. High end second nation military. Elite special forces.
Brazilian large, low cost second world military, makes most of its own equipment, squeeze out the most bang for your buck. Older equipment refurbished for modern use.
Philippine small military, cost effective mix of new and refurbished.
Ugandan third nation military, second hand equipment, lots of militia
The key terrain you intend to operate from. Desert, mountain, jungle, littoral, etc.
These questions help design your TO&E.
As far as looks. You wouldn’t have to answer all these questions but it gives me an ideal of what you are looking for. A tank like a T-55 soviet tank vs M1 Abrams vs S-Tank. Honestly, A simple broad description of your equipment and I’ll put a package together for you to view.
