RESIGNATION OF THE SENATE PRESIDENT AND APPOINTMENT OF ACTING SENATE PRESIDENT
To the Honorable Members of the United Commonwealth Senate:
I, Jovan Montalban, hereby formally tender my resignation from the Office of the Senate President of New Valdoria, citing my decision to shift my primary focus toward my studies and academic responsibilities.
It has been an honor and privilege to serve as Senate President and to represent New Valdoria within the United Commonwealth Senate. I express my sincere appreciation to my fellow Senators and to all those who have supported me throughout my tenure.
ACCEPTANCE AND EFFECTIVE DATE
The resignation of Jovan Montalban is hereby accepted by the appropriate authority of the United Commonwealth Senate.
The resignation shall become effective on 2 October 2026 at 7:11 AM.
APPOINTMENT OF ACTING SENATE PRESIDENT
Effective simultaneously with the resignation of Jovan Montalban, at 2 October 2026 at 7:11 AM, the Northern Domain of Nordstjerne is hereby appointed as Acting Senate President of New Valdoria.
The appointment shall take effect immediately upon the effectiveness of the resignation, ensuring a continuous and uninterrupted transition of the powers, duties, and responsibilities of the Office of the Senate President.
The Acting Senate President shall serve until a permanent successor is duly selected or appointed in accordance with the applicable rules and procedures of the United Commonwealth Senate and the Government of New Valdoria.
