Additional Information
Commonwealth citizens are invited to submit their declarations of candidacy in the comments of this thread. Please clearly indicate whether you are seeking election as a Senator or as the Speaker of the Senate.
Following the conclusion of the Nomination Phase, a separate official thread will be opened for the Campaign and Public Question Period, where candidates may present their platforms, answer questions from Commonwealth citizens, and engage in respectful debate.
A detailed guide outlining the electoral procedures, voting method and election schedule will be published prior to the commencement of the Voting Phase.
All Commonwealth citizens are strongly encouraged to participate. A vibrant and competitive election strengthens the democratic institutions of the United Commonwealth and ensures broad representation within the Senate.
Should the number of candidates significantly exceed the available seats, the Administration reserves the authority to expand this election from two (2) Senate seats to four (4) Senate seats, thereby bringing the Senate to a total strength of seven (7) Senators, in accordance with the constitutional limit established by the Legislative Resilience and Executive Balance Amendment.
On behalf of the Government of the United Commonwealth, I wish every candidate the best of luck and encourage all citizens to help shape the future of our Commonwealth through active participation.
Issued by the President of the United Commonwealth.
