The investigation further establishes a possible relationship between IT’s electromagnetic activity and the Lazarus phenomenon, commonly associated with the Mayat Hidup incidents. A Rilicon-operated cruise vessel was identified during the broader intelligence investigation, although its precise role and relationship to the attack have not been established.
The March 2143 events have fundamentally changed the strategic assessment.
The threat is no longer understood solely as the possibility of IT escaping its physical prison. Geological Event 0342B3 is the designation for the sequence of geological, electromagnetic, and anomalous events associated with the Hominid Cavern Complex.
The event involves unusual electromagnetic activity, geological instability, underwater infrastructure, and the apparent activation of ancient containment systems.
A major earthquake and associated electromagnetic anomaly were recorded during the developing crisis.
The geographical and temporal relationship between the seismic event and the ancient installation remains under investigation.
The earthquake may have been:
- A natural geological event coinciding with activation of the installation.
- A consequence of electromagnetic or energy-related activity.

8.2 Metharom Blackout — BRIMOB Underground Operation
The Metharom blackout was a major anomalous event associated with the ancient Hominid infrastructure and SUBJECT 0342-B.
During the blackout, Metharom experienced widespread disruption to its electrical, communications, transportation, and municipal information systems. The event was accompanied by unusual electromagnetic activity throughout the metropolitan area.
BRIMOB forces entered the city to investigate the disturbances and restore security. During their operations, elements of BRIMOB entered the underground railway tunnels.
Their investigation led to the discovery of a subterranean installation that was not documented in contemporary municipal or railway engineering records.
Discovery of the Pre-War Bunker
While investigating the tunnels, BRIMOB personnel discovered a previously unknown pre-war bunker.
Inside the installation, they encountered an artificial intelligence connected to an extensive collection of unidentified material covered in markings designated runes.
The markings were strikingly similar to those subsequently documented on the island ruins associated with Geological Event 0342B3 and the Hominid Cavern Complex.

More significantly, the AI was connected to SUBJECT 0342-B.

An installation beneath the Javnian capital was connected to an intelligence associated with IT.
Destruction of the Bunker AI
Recognizing the threat posed by the installation, BRIMOB personnel destroyed the bunker AI.
The decision was made to terminate the system rather than permit its continued operation.
