SUBJECT: FORMAL DETERMINATION OF INSTITUTIONAL PARALYSIS AND ACTIVE RESET WARNING

Esteemed Senators,

Pursuant to the Constitution of the United Commonwealth, Article VI, Section 5, Subsection (a), any elected or appointed official shall be officially deemed Inactive upon the lapse of fourteen (14) consecutive days marked by unannounced absence or a failure to discharge the duties of their office.

Additionally, pursuant to Article IX, Section 3, a prolonged inability of the Senate to convene or act for more than twenty-one (21) consecutive days constitutes a state of Institutional Paralysis, empowering the Founder’s Guardianship Collective (FGC) to bypass standard legal proceedings and authorize corrective actions to restore basic regional functionality.

As of today, June 25, 2026, the Commonwealth Senate has been entirely silent since May 25, 2026. This marks exactly thirty-one (31) consecutive days of total legislative freeze, during which no new resolutions have been introduced, no active debates conducted, and no votes processed within the Senate chambers.

The Senate has bypassed both the fourteen-day inactivity threshold and the twenty-one-day institutional paralysis threshold. Consequently, the United Commonwealth has officially entered a state of active legislative paralysis.

THE FINAL FORTY-EIGHT HOUR GRACE PERIOD

The Founder’s Guardianship Collective hereby issues a final forty-eight (48) hour grace period for all elected Senators to report to the Senate chambers, formally confirm their active status, and resume their constitutional duties.

IMMEDIATE EXECUTION OF THE ARTICLE IX RESET

Should the Senate fail to resolve this paralysis, establish a functional quorum, and resume operations within this forty-eight hour window, the FGC will immediately execute its absolute constitutional authority to restore governance.

Effective immediately upon the expiration of this ultimatum, the Collective will implement the following corrective actions:

The immediate dissolution of all inactive Senate seats and the formal removal of non-compliant Senators from office for neglect of duty, following due process.

The temporary, immediate appointment of active, verified regional citizens to serve as “Acting Senators” to restore the legislative branch to basic functionality.

OR

The immediate call for an emergency regional election cycle to permanently fill the vacant Senate seats with active representatives.

The United Commonwealth cannot allow its legislative machinery to remain paralyzed. We expect our elected representatives to honor their oaths to the Constitution and the preservation of its principles.

The clock is active. We await your immediate return to the chambers.

I, unfortunately am not and cannot be active consistently. I have personal troubles and have notified @Thessara in the appropriate thread that my absence will be marked as indefinite, marred by occasional spurts of activity.

Edit: I can still view discussions from time to time and i should not be counted as totally absent.

You are completely right on the legal side. Your announced absence protects your standing under the constitution, and nobody is disputing that.

But for the day-to-day reality of running the region, we need active senators who can actually propose resolutions, start debates, and vote on things within our active timelines. One option is that we can mark your seat as temporarily inactive right now to bring in an active senator to fill the gap, and the moment you have more time and want to return, you can immediately resume your duties.

The catch is that we cannot wait too long on this. I am preparing to propose the new election resolutions to establish the actual timelines and mechanics for how our future elections will work. Once that election act is debated and ratified, we are going to have fresh, region-wide elections anyway. Because of that, if the timeline for your return is going to be long, I would suggest formally resigning from your post for now so we can let others take over.
