Heres how the wages are calculated:
1.The base
It all starts of with a minimum wage, which right now is 1875 DR (~750 €$). In that wage tho is included free housing, free public transport, free healthcare, freeeducations and so on.
2.The education
Next, the wage increases based on the ammout of education required for that position. Obviously if you studied longer it means you start working later so you should earn more.
- No education aka. dosent need graduation (1x income)
- High school (1.1x income)
- Universty (1.25x income)
- Higher Education (1.5x income)
3.Difficulty
Obviously, if you’re doing a more difficult job, you should be paid more. Simple as that.
- Easy job (1x income) (ex. receptionist, waiter)
- Medium job (1.25x income) (ex. cook, accountant)
- Hard job (1.5x income) (ex. doctor, teacher)
4.Importance
Again, if a job is more crucial it will pay more. Simple.
- low importance (1x income) (ex. restaurant waiter)
- Medium importance (1.25x income) (ex. accountant)
- High Importance (1.5x income) (ex.Doctor, builder)
Now, lets run a theoretical check on a lawyer for example. Heres the math:
1875*1,5*1,5*1,25= 5273
This means that a lawyer would earn 5273 DR, which is about 2109 €$. Please note that this ammount is 100% tax free, as a benefit of a centrally planed economy while still getting benefits like free housing, education, healthcare, public transport etc. .
