Novara
Official Response of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the People’s Republic of New Valdoria
(Ambassador to the United Commonwealth and Senator Jovan Montalban of the United Commonwealth Senate)
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the People’s Republic of New Valdoria acknowledges with due diplomatic consideration the official communiqué issued by the Republic of Novara, particularly its reaffirmation of neutrality, its expressed concern regarding regional stability, and its appeal for de-escalation within the broader continental and United Commonwealth framework.
We recognize and appreciate the intent of the Republic of Novara to preserve peace, encourage dialogue, and safeguard the unity of the United Commonwealth during a period of institutional transition and evolving regional dynamics. Such expressions of restraint and diplomatic engagement are consistent with the foundational principles upon which the United Commonwealth was established.
The People’s Republic of New Valdoria hereby reaffirms that its ongoing internal institutional transition remains a sovereign and strictly domestic matter. External interpretations or characterizations of these developments are respectfully noted but do not alter the constitutional authority of the New Valdorian state to pursue its chosen administrative and political restructuring path.
At the same time, we reiterate our full commitment to the stability, continuity, and unity of the United Commonwealth. New Valdoria regards the UC as a strategic framework of mutual cooperation, and we affirm that all actions undertaken by our state remain aligned with the preservation of regional peace, collective security, and shared prosperity among member nations.
In response to the appeal for de-escalation, New Valdoria concurs that dialogue remains the most effective and responsible mechanism for addressing misunderstandings or concerns between sovereign actors. We therefore express openness to continued diplomatic consultation through established United Commonwealth channels and intergovernmental coordination mechanisms.
However, we respectfully emphasize that calls for restraint must be applied equitably and without presupposition of instability within any member state. Stability is best preserved through recognition of sovereignty, non-interference, and mutual respect among equal partners.
The People’s Republic of New Valdoria remains committed to constructive engagement with the Republic of Novara and all United Commonwealth members in the spirit of cooperation, peaceful development, and institutional solidarity. We welcome continued diplomatic discourse aimed at strengthening the unity and resilience of our shared continental framework.
May this period serve not as a point of division, but as an opportunity to reinforce the principles of sovereignty, unity, and cooperative progress within the United Commonwealth.
Signed,
Jovan Montalban
Minister of Foreign Affairs, People’s Republic of New Valdoria

Senator, United Commonwealth Senate
